Waymo's Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams are making the technology of the future a reality. We handle all production processes and supplier development strategies: from contracts and purchasing, to designs for improved manufacturing, through quality control and delivery. We collaborate actively with Waymo engineering teams as well as external suppliers and partners to make sure everything is built to spec and delivered on time to meet the rising demands of our business.

This role follows a hybrid work schedule and you will report to a MPM Manager.

 

You will:

• Material Risk & CTB Management: Manage the Clear To Build (CTB) and Materials Risk Release processes for both new and sustaining complex modules

• Strategy Development: Design and execute the material management strategy to support all assigned programs, including sustaining and new products

• Inventory & MRP Accuracy: Ensure total accuracy of the MRP, materials planning, and inventory tracking at contract manufacturing facilities

• Forecast Alignment: Partner with Supply and Demand Planners to project long-term forecasts and secure long lead-time materials

• Strategic Procurement: Plan, procure, and deliver strategic consigned components to production sites

• Executive Reporting & Data Analysis: Represent material status at executive reviews and build complex models to forecast and allocate materials across factories and programs

 

You have:

• BA/BS degree required

• 10+ years of work experience as a Materials Planner / Materials Program Manager in Supply Chain in high-tech or automotive companies

• Strong analytical skills and advanced experience in systems and tools with the ability to create complex components supply and demand models

• Well-organized and high level of attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including great presentations

 

We prefer:

• Masters or MBA are considered a plus

• Vast knowledge in SAP system

 

Travel Requirements:

• Weekly visits to the Contract manufacturers in Taiwan and monthly around Asia

 

  The expected base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.  Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.

Salary Range $4,300,000 — $4,950,000 TWD
