Sustainable Talent is partnering with  NVIDIA , a global leader that has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a  HR Compliance Specialist to support our client's HR Global Compliance team. This is a full-time (W-2) contract role based in Santa Clara, CA with REMOTE work options. We offer competitive pay $40/hr - $50/hr  based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!

In this dynamic role, you’ll help drive compliance excellence across both U.S. and international programs, including HR compliance and deemed export control processes. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates with clarity and confidence, and enjoys solving complex compliance challenges with precision and care.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process deemed export compliance activities, including reviewing forms for completeness and accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve them.

• Act as back up for other HR compliance programs including background checks, and global right to work.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather data and support export license requests, maintaining documentation and ensuring timely submissions.

• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and external vendors to interpret and meet government and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and maintain clear internal guidelines, policies, and communications for compliance programs.

• Coordinate and maintain reporting in accordance with established deadlines and requirements.

• Track and manage government contract clearances and maintain accurate compliance records.

• Stay informed on applicable regulations globally.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

 

What We Need to See

• 4–5 years of HR, compliance, or related professional experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external partners to ensure compliance and resolve issues.

• Knowledge of data privacy and export control regulations strongly preferred.
