Accountabilities: • Translate product strategy and complex customer problems into elegant, user-centered solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Lead design direction for key enterprise product initiatives while balancing customer needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Conduct, synthesize, and apply customer research and usability testing to validate design decisions and uncover new opportunities.
• Apply strong judgment when evaluating AI opportunities, identifying where AI can meaningfully improve customer outcomes and challenging its use when it does not add sufficient value.
• Design thoughtful AI-assisted experiences that account for error states, confidence signals, transparency, user feedback, and overall interaction quality.
• Integrate AI thoughtfully into discovery, prioritization, design workflows, and execution to accelerate productivity and improve design outcomes.
• Contribute to the evolution of design systems, ensuring consistency, accessibility, scalability, and high-quality interaction patterns across products.
• Continuously improve design processes, tools, workflows, and team rituals to increase effectiveness and collaboration.
• Communicate design rationale, research insights, concepts, and final decisions clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Research, and other functions to create alignment and maintain a high design quality bar.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, feedback-oriented design culture that encourages learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related discipline.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing complex digital products across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma and AI-assisted development/design tools such as Claude Code.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and evolving design systems at scale.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, accessibility, and modern product design best practices.
• Experience working collaboratively within agile product development teams.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, accelerate productivity, or enhance design outputs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills combined with a growth mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for design decisions.
• High emotional intelligence and a genuine interest in supporting and developing others.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Strong curiosity about how people think, behave, and interact with technology.
• Broad interests and an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrated through self-initiated projects, ventures, community involvement, or a history of successfully adapting and pursuing new directions.
