Accountabilities: • Management Accounting & Expense Processing: Accurately code and classify expenses to the appropriate General Ledger accounts, process and reconcile corporate credit card transactions, and verify supporting receipts and documentation.

• Journal Entries & Financial Analysis: Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, corrections, and other accounting requirements, while analyzing expenses to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.

• Audit & Documentation Support: Maintain accurate supporting documentation and respond promptly to audit queries, ensuring financial records are complete, reliable, and properly controlled.

• Fixed Asset Accounting: Maintain detailed fixed asset records covering acquisitions, costs, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and write-offs, ensuring assets are capitalized appropriately in line with accounting policies and applicable standards.

• Depreciation & Asset Disposals: Apply appropriate useful lives and depreciation methodologies and accurately calculate and record gains or losses arising from asset disposals.

• Bank Reconciliations: Perform timely bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements with internal financial records, investigating unidentified transactions, bank charges, processing errors, and other outstanding items.

• Issue Resolution & Controls: Work with internal stakeholders and banking partners to resolve reconciliation issues, correct accounting errors through appropriate journal entries, and maintain compliance with internal controls and financial reporting requirements.

• Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that improve the efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and control of finance processes within a collaborative global team.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, management accounting, or a similar finance function.

• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, financial controls, and transaction processing.

• Excel & Data Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reconciliation techniques.

• Analytical Ability: Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions.

• Accuracy & Organization: Highly organized, methodical, numerically accurate, and attentive to detail when handling financial information.

• Communication: Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to respond clearly and professionally to queries and audit requests.

• Collaboration: Comfortable working collaboratively within a global and remote team environment while managing priorities independently.

• Ownership & Initiative: Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.

• Core Competencies: Demonstrated attention to detail, financial analysis, reconciliation, customer and stakeholder focus, teamwork, process improvement, accountability, time management, prioritization, and adaptability in a global working environment.
