Accountabilities: • Serve as the primary NetSuite administrator and internal subject matter expert, managing roles, permissions, workflows, forms, saved searches, reports, dashboards, custom fields, custom records, and user access.
• Configure and administer core NetSuite capabilities across Financials, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Fixed Assets, Advanced Revenue Recognition, MCP, SuiteAnalytics, workflows, dashboards, and related finance functionality.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, People, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate finance processes into scalable configurations, workflows, and controls.
• Manage integrations and data flows between NetSuite and connected business systems, investigating issues, coordinating resolutions, and maintaining reliable master data.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation and operational efficiency through workflow design, approval routing, system enhancements, and effective use of native NetSuite functionality.
• Own release management, sandbox testing, user acceptance testing, change control, system documentation, and end-user training to support reliable adoption of new functionality.
• Monitor data quality, user access, system controls, and audit readiness, proactively identifying risks and recommending practical improvements.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, saved searches, and ad hoc analysis to provide Finance and business stakeholders with actionable information for decision-making.
• Evaluate and support related finance and procurement applications, including spend management and accounts payable automation tools.
• Contribute to broader finance systems, automation, and process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Requirements
• Bring 7+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience in a business environment, with strong practical expertise in managing and improving finance systems.
• Have experience successfully supporting or leading one to two full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations, covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of ERP concepts, financial systems, and core Finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order management, procurement, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Possess extensive experience configuring NetSuite Financials, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Fixed Assets, Advanced Revenue Recognition, MCP, SuiteAnalytics, dashboards, saved searches, workflows, roles, permissions, and user access.
• Have experience building and supporting complex finance integrations and data flows, with exposure to AI-powered workflows and agents considered valuable.
• Be able to work closely with Finance stakeholders to translate reporting, automation, and process improvement requirements into practical and scalable system solutions.
• Experience working in a startup, high-growth, software, or SaaS environment is preferred, along with familiarity with billing, procurement, spend management, and AP automation tools.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate root causes and explain technical solutions clearly.
• Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for data quality, system reliability, and effective user support.
• Be comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor while acting as the go-to resource for NetSuite knowledge and support.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize competing demands, adapt to changing requirements, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
