Accountabilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, either from the ground up or by enhancing existing solutions.

• Develop functional UI automation scripts for complex web applications, including dynamic elements, object selections, lookups, drill-downs, child-record views, pop-ups, and multi-window workflows.

• Build and maintain automation using framework patterns such as Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid architectures.

• Optimize test scripts for reliability and maintainability across dynamic user interfaces, multiple browsers, and different test environments.

• Implement robust test-data management, error handling, logging, reporting, and debugging practices.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to define automation requirements, investigate test results, and improve application quality.

• Support API automation where appropriate to complement UI-level testing.

• Conduct code and automation-framework reviews while establishing and promoting testing best practices.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvements in automation processes, tools, and strategy.

• Monitor developments in automation technologies and recommend relevant improvements to the testing ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software test automation, with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver.

• Strong programming skills in Java, preferably with experience supporting enterprise applications.

• Experience with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Strong understanding of Selenium locator strategies, including XPath and CSS, as well as handling windows/tabs, iframes, alerts, and advanced browser interactions.

• Practical experience with TestNG or JUnit for test execution and assertions.

• Experience with reporting and data-handling tools such as Extent Reports, Allure, and Apache POI.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect-management tools such as JIRA.

• Experience with enterprise applications such as IBM TRIRIGA, MREF, Maximo Application Suite, or similar platforms is an advantage.

• Exposure to Cypress, Playwright, or Appium is desirable.

• Understanding of API testing using tools such as RestAssured or Postman is a plus.

• Relevant certifications in Selenium, ISTQB, or other automation technologies are beneficial.

• Experience in facilities management, real estate, asset management, or related enterprise software domains is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Strong communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to contribute to broader automation strategy and engineering improvements.
