What the employer wrote

Accountabilities: • Build, ship, maintain, and continuously improve production mobile applications, balancing reliability, maintainability, quality, and development speed.

• Identify friction and opportunities across onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, conversion, monetization, and other key product journeys.

• Translate product questions and user problems into practical improvements, prototypes, A/B tests, and other experiments that generate actionable evidence.

• Use product and user data to understand behavior, define success metrics, analyze outcomes, and determine what should be built or changed next.

• Take ownership beyond implementation by contributing to problem definition, prioritization, solution design, release, measurement, and iteration.

• Work closely with founders, product, business, and technical stakeholders to influence important product and company decisions.

• Collaborate across mobile, backend, web, data, and analytics areas when solving problems requires broader technical or product involvement.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience building, shipping, and supporting production mobile applications for real users through iOS, Android, cross-platform technologies, or another credible mobile development environment.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, data modeling, testing, debugging, release practices, production monitoring, reliability, maintainability, and sound technical judgment.

• Practical exposure to growth experimentation, A/B or split testing, conversion optimization, product ownership, or building and operating an independent software product.

• Experience improving real product flows such as onboarding, activation, paywalls, trials, checkout, subscriptions, payments, or trial-to-paid conversion.

• Experience with Flutter/Dart, TypeScript/NestJS, MongoDB, or comparable technologies, together with familiarity with mobile subscriptions, payments, paywalls, or related monetization journeys.

• Ability to independently move from identifying a problem through implementation, release, measurement, and iteration rather than relying solely on predefined specifications.

• Strong product thinking, including the ability to frame problems, make trade-offs, define success, use evidence to evaluate outcomes, and change direction when the data supports it.

• Clear communication and ownership, with the ability to explain what was wrong, what you personally built, what happened, and what you learned.

• Comfortable working across technical boundaries when necessary and taking an evidence-driven approach to experimentation and decision-making.

Benefits:

• Compensation of $80,000–$120,000 USD annually , depending on experience.

• Significant ownership, with the opportunity to directly influence product direction and business outcomes.

• Direct access to experienced founders and entrepreneurs on important product and company decisions.

• Collaboration with capable, curious, and high-ownership colleagues in a demanding and growth-oriented environment.

• Opportunities to take on larger challenges and greater responsibility as the organization grows.

• 100% remote work, allowing you to work from anywhere.

• Unlimited leave , providing flexibility to take meaningful time away when needed.

• Paid international company trips to inspiring cities around the world for collaboration, relationship building, and shared experiences.
