• Collaborate with investment professionals and cross-functional editorial teams to remain connected to market developments, client questions, and evolving financial priorities.

• Consistently deliver polished, client-ready work while managing multiple priorities independently and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of investment principles and portfolio concepts, with the ability to recognize meaningful investment insights even when you are not responsible for building financial models.

• Solid financial literacy and familiarity with financial planning concepts, enabling you to address clients’ broader financial circumstances beyond investment markets alone.

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, engaging, accurate, and client-ready financial content for a sophisticated audience.

• Strong research and synthesis skills, with genuine curiosity about markets, investments, economic developments, and emerging financial topics.

• Excellent editorial judgment, including the ability to identify compelling ideas, structure persuasive arguments, curate relevant information, and improve content beyond the original brief.

• Strong awareness of financial markets and the ability to translate current developments into relevant, accessible content rather than generic commentary.

• Comfortable using AI tools to polish and refine content while maintaining independent thinking, originality, and editorial quality.

• Highly self-directed, reliable, organized, and capable of consistently delivering high-quality work with limited oversight.

• Familiarity with Canadian wealth management, financial planning, or retail investment products is an advantage.

• An existing portfolio of published financial writing demonstrating investment expertise, strong editorial voice, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly is a plus.
