Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to lead compliance operations across Brazil. Based in São Paulo.

This role is critical in ensuring our operations meet all regulatory requirements under the Brazilian federal framework for fixed‑odds betting and iGaming, while supporting business expansion in the region.

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

• Lead compliance operations in Brazil, ensuring corporate and regulatory adherence.

• Serve as the primary point of contact with local regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and effective communication.

• Oversee integrity and compliance functions, ensuring alignment with statutory governance standards in Brazil.

• Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on necessary adaptations.

• Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure regulatory alignment across operations.

• Design and implement internal compliance controls, policies, and training tailored to the Brazilian market.

• Manage preparation and updates of corporate documentation (bylaws, registrations, SIGAP/SEI annexes).

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of AML/CTF frameworks and ensure effective implementation of related policies and procedures. Experience as MLRO or equivalent compliance officer role is highly desirable.

• Inspire and guide cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

 

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in compliance within the Brazilian gambling/iGaming sector or other highly regulated industries.

• Strong knowledge of Brazilian regulatory frameworks : AML, KYC, data protection, licensing, and corporate governance.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and stakeholder engagement.

• Academic background in Law, Compliance, or related fields; additional expertise in finance or technology applied to compliance is a plus.

• Familiarity with online gambling licensing processes and regulatory reporting in Brazil.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

• Fluency in Portuguese and English required; Spanish is a plus.
