Qualifications & Skills: • Experience: 5+ years of experience focused heavily on CI/CD automation, release engineering, or developer tooling, with at least 2+ years leading a technical team.

• Platform Expertise: Deep, hands-on administrative experience with GitLab and GitHub . You understand the nuances of managing large enterprise instances, enforcing branch protections, and configuring complex role-based access.

• CI/CD Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of GitLab CI and GitHub Actions. You know how to build modular, reusable pipelines and can quickly debug complex build failures.

• Developer Empathy: A strong customer-service mindset focused on developer experience (DevEx). You enjoy collaborating with software engineers and solving their deployment pain points.

• Containerization Knowledge: Strong understanding of Docker and building containerized applications, as well as how pipelines interact with Kubernetes environments during deployment.

• Communication: Excellent English communication skills to effectively collaborate and provide support across our distributed, global engineering teams.

Responsibilities • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a dedicated team of CI/CD engineers and version control administrators.

• Platform Administration: Serve as the technical owner of Xsolla’s enterprise GitLab and GitHub environments. Ensure high availability, performance, access management, and regular maintenance of these critical platforms.

• Developer Deployment Support: Act as the primary support layer for development teams regarding their deployment processes. Troubleshoot failing builds, optimize pipeline performance, and provide hands-on guidance to help developers deploy their code efficiently.

• Pipeline Standardization: Design, build, and maintain centralized CI/CD pipeline templates and automated workflows. Make it easy for developers to adopt best practices without having to write complex deployment scripts from scratch.

• Runner Management: Oversee the dedicated infrastructure for GitLab Runners and GitHub Actions. Scale and optimize these build environments to eliminate queuing delays and reduce build times.

• Security Integration: Partner with the Information Security team to ensure version control access complies with PCI-DSS. Integrate security scanning tools (SAST/DAST, dependency checks) directly into the deployment pipelines without severely impacting build speed.

Nice to Have: • Experience migrating large codebases between GitLab and GitHub.

• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go) to automate routine repository management tasks.

• A passion for the video game industry!
