About The Role

We're hiring Associate Data Scientists with a background in Operations Research. You will own the entire process: from ideation and research through to production deployment.

 

You'll join either our Pricing or Matching team, working alongside other Data Scientists and engineers on challenging, high-impact problems such as dynamic pricing and bipartite matching.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, Data Scientists, designers, and product managers to solve ambiguous problems

• Research, prototype, and ship ML and optimisation models into production

• Continuously improve existing algorithms and identify opportunities for new ones

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Management Science or a closely related field with a focus on optimisation

• Strong foundation in mathematical optimisation or mathematical programming

• Solid knowledge of probability & statistics

• Solid knowledge of Reinforcement Learning and Casual Inference

• Excellent programming skills in Python and core ML tooling (e.g. SQL, PyTorch, etc.)

Nice To Have

• Exposure to dynamic pricing, auction design, or marketplace matching problems

• Publication in Q1/A* journals, participation in NeurIPS and other conferences
