Come on board as our  Student Business Development Consultant  and play a pivotal role in supporting the trajectory of our agency's success while kickstarting your career.

What will your day look like?

As our new Student Business Development Consultant, you will assist our internal business development & management consulting team, helping to drive key strategic projects that are essential to our agency's growth and innovation. You will play an active role in assessing, analyzing, and executing internal projects, using and developing your consulting skills to ensure alignment with our organizational objectives.

Your role will encompass supporting the entire project lifecycle — from data capture and analysis to creating decision-making materials and helping execute initiatives. Whether you are working on short-term tasks or contributing to more extensive, long-term projects, your ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a structured approach will be crucial.

More specifically, your tasks include:

• Supporting the execution of projects  focused on business development, innovation, and organizational growth in collaboration with colleagues in the Business Development team.

• Capturing and analyzing data  to help build conclusions and recommendations for potential solutions.

• Assisting in scoping and building project plans  to ensure effective project delivery.

• Helping to execute project plans  across various business departments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Drafting communication and presentation materials  to update stakeholders and senior leadership on project status, progress, and conclusions.

• Providing ongoing support to management  on day-to-day strategic and administrative tasks.

• Helping maintain the overall project portfolio  for business development, keeping track of tasks and timelines.

Who are you going to work with?

You will be an integral part of the Business Development team, working closely with experienced consultants, and other senior leaders across the organization. Your role will require you to collaborate with various departments across the ES MAP organization to support project success. You will work both independently on assigned tasks and alongside multiple specialists, learning how to navigate complex organizational structures and manage diverse stakeholders.

What do you bring to the table?

You are a proactive, curious, and highly organized individual who is eager to learn. You are currently pursuing a relevant degree and are looking to apply your theoretical knowledge to a fast-paced, real-world environment. You possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a desire to develop pragmatic, actionable solutions. You have a structured mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think outside the box to approach challenges holistically.

In addition, you:

• Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Communication, or a related field (with at least 1-2 years left of your studies).

• Have a strong interest in management consulting, project management, and business development.

• Possess a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into clear insights.

• Are structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage your own time effectively between work and studies (approx. 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility during exams).

• Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with a knack for creating clean, professional slides (PowerPoint) and spreadsheets (Excel).

• Are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
