🎯 THE ROLE
We're French, post-Series B scale-up, and now building the UK from the ground up — first councils signed, first go-lives delivered. We are already working with +200 local authorities in France, Belgium & Switzerland and are now expanding in the UK.
As Field-based Project Coordinator, you'll take the lead in delivering, supporting and supervising client projects, and reporting to Manuella (Head of Operations).
This is a great fit if you enjoy working hands-on with hardware in the field, coordinating partners to get things installed right, and want to be part of a team that values ownership, collaboration and getting things done.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL DO
PMO delivery
- Lead the end-to-end rollout of our installations across council sites, ensuring smooth delivery from kick-off to handover.
- Oversee the configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet each council's requirements.
Partner management
- Train and certify partners on the installation and maintenance of our solutions, ensuring compliance with our quality and uptime standards.
- Act as the interface between installation partners and HQ, coordinating schedules, priorities and escalations.
Client technical support
- Serve as the named technical point of contact for councils, triaging and resolving issues within defined SLAs.
- Challenge orientation choice and ensure that the partner meets Vizzia’s standards regarding execution and delivery-time.
- Conduct site surveys to validate camera types and installation locations, and produce execution packs for installers (HQ and local partners).
- Coordinate spares and replacements with HQ to minimise downtime.
With HQ
- Produce regular reports and progress updates for management.
- Manage stock levels and maintain accurate records to keep projects on track.
- Build strong working relationships with HQ, external partners and council clients.
In the field
- Mobility: This role covers deployments across the UK, regular regional travel is an integral part of the job.
✅ WHO YOU ARE
- At least 5 years experience working with technical delivery or field operations, ideally in council, public-sector, or similarly complex environments.
- Electricity — understanding of electrical systems, outdoor installations, and pole/camera fixings would be a bonus.
- Track record of deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems.
- Confident managing multiple projects at once and keeping everyone informed.
- Great communication skills — comfortable breaking down and explaining technical issues.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Full working proficiency English skills
- UK driving licence is required to get between sites.
⭐ BONUS POINTS
- Familiarity with CCTV or EV charging infrastructure.
- Experience with UK local authorities / the public sector / B2G.
🚀 GROWTH PERSPECTIVES
This is a builder role! You'll be the first Field-based Project Coordinator in the UK. As you build traction and autonomy, the scope is yours to expand. More ownership over UK operations, a bigger say in partner strategy, and potentially building out your own team as we scale.
