STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: San Francisco (in-person, in-office, full-time ONLY)

Compensation: $150K-$180K base + meaningful equity

ABOUT VIRIO

Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack.

Backed by investors and operators from LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, Rippling, and Google, we turn executive-led content into revenue for the fastest-growing B2B companies. We're building content engines to help B2B companies turn LinkedIn into their number one channel.

We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager to own customer success and expansion for our EGC (employee-generated content) product. You will sit with customers, get them to do the work that drives results, and grow each account from a few seats to hundreds of employees. You work directly with the CEO and CTO.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own a book of accounts end to end: onboarding, adoption, results, and renewal.

- Expand accounts from 1 seat to 3, 3 to 25, and 25 to 100 employees by project managing each rollout and finding the next team to bring on.

- Forward deploy when a customer is stuck: sit with them, choose posts with them (not for them), and build the habits that train their content system.

- Run discovery with every customer so you know their goals, blockers, and definition of success before they have to tell you.

- Build trust across each customer's organization, from the executive sponsor to the employees who post.

- Turn what you see into product: bring recurring needs and gaps to engineering, and build AI agents that automate your own repetitive work.

- Help write our onboarding playbook, with clear checkpoints from day zero through month one.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

- 5+ years in sales, account management, customer success, or founding a company, with real ownership of customer outcomes.

- You are excellent at discovery: you ask the questions that get people to open up, and you listen more than you talk.

- You can sell. You spot expansion opportunities and close them, and customers like working with you.

- You are a strong project manager who keeps many accounts moving at once.

- You learn fast and solve new problems every day without waiting for a playbook.

- AI-native (required): you use AI every day and have built your own AI workflows or agents.

BONUS POINTS

- You are a former founder with a sales or marketing background.

- You have managed a book of business or carried a quota.

- You understand LinkedIn and executive content as a revenue channel.

TRAITS THAT THRIVE AT VIRIO

- High agency: you move without being told.

- Customer obsession: you know where every account stands, every day.

- First-principles thinking: you solve the real problem, not the stated one.

- Direct communication: you say the hard thing early.

- Low ego: you own the miss.

BENEFITS

- Work directly with the founders

- Meaningful equity as part of the founding team

- 100 percent paid medical, dental, and vision

- 401(k) plan

- $1k monthly wellness and meals stipend

- Relocation support for San Francisco

- Company-wide annual off-sites

- High ownership, high trust, fast progression

- In-person culture with a deep commitment to excellence

This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco. 6 days in the office.
