Context of the 12-months role 

We are looking for a driven and product-minded BI Analyst who combines strong analytical skills with a genuine interest in solving real business problems through data.

In this role, you will turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that support better decision-making across the business. You will help identify product and operational pain points, improve day-to-day insight consumption for internal teams, and contribute to a strong data informed culture across the company.

You will work closely with data engineers to design, build, and maintain analytical solutions for   key internal stakeholders across different functions, that improves our productivity, business performance, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting, analysis, and insight needs, and translate them into effective analytical solutions.

• Build a strong understanding of key business processes, product flows, operational challenges, and performance metrics.

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade dashboards, reports, and analytical assets using Tableau and other relevant tools.

• Write production-level SQL and Python to support analytics, reporting, data transformation, and scalable insight delivery.

• Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data sources are reliable, well-structured, and fit for analytical use.

• Contribute to improving reporting standards, data definitions, and analytical best practices within the team.

• Manage priorities effectively across requests, aligned with team direction and company priorities.

Professional Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field.

• 2-5 years of experience in a data, BI, analytics, or related role.

• Strong hands-on experience writing production-level SQL.

• Strong hands-on experience using Python for analysis, data processing, and analytical solution development.

• Strong expertise in Tableau, including dashboard development, data source design, performance optimisation, and Tableau Online administration and management.

• Proven ability to work with complex datasets and turn business questions into structured, actionable analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to move from stakeholder requests to practical data solutions.

• Good understanding of reporting design, data visualisation best practices, and how to present insights clearly for business users.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, accuracy, and reliability.

• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, or another fast-paced, data-rich environment.

• Experience supporting multiple business functions and balancing different stakeholder needs in a structured way.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gather requirements, align expectations, and communicate clearly throughout delivery.

• Demonstrated business curiosity and a proactive approach to understanding how the business works beyond the data itself.

• Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to work independently and follow through from problem understanding to solution delivery.
