We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.

T1 Energy is looking a Senior Accountant to help manage intercompany accounting, general ledger integrity, and consolidations across multiple entities. This role sits at the center of our monthly close process and ensures financial results are accurate, timely, and audit-ready. This is a hands-on accounting role focused on strengthening the core financial infrastructure of a fast-scaling manufacturing business.

You will play a key role in maintaining clean books across entities, ensuring intercompany transactions reconcile seamlessly, and supporting consolidated reporting that leadership, auditors, and lenders rely on.

As part of a transformative and rapidly growing accounting team, this position offers significant opportunity to take on broader responsibilities across technical accounting, process optimization, systems implementation, operational accounting, and strategic financial initiatives. We are building a forward-looking function poised for growth and this role is positioned to evolve alongside the business, offering meaningful leadership and advancement opportunities.

What You'll Do:

- Support accounting for a multi-entity, global organization, helping ensure accurate consolidation and intercompany activity across domestic and international operations.

- Assist in coordinating the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to support timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, flux analyses, and supporting schedules.

- Assist with technical accounting research and help implement new accounting standards or complex transactions.

- Help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal control standards applicable to publicly traded companies.

- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.

- Contribute to the review and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support scalability and accuracy.

- Support audit preparation and help coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third parties as needed.

- Assist in managing inter-company transactions, eliminations, foreign currency impacts, and consolidation adjustments.

- Support and mentor accounting staff, fostering accountability, development, and a high-performance team environment.

- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve systems, and enhance reporting efficiency.

Who You Are

- Detail-oriented and technically solid in U.S. GAAP.

- Comfortable working through complex contracts and helping translate them into accounting outcomes.

- Analytical, organized, and deadline driven.

- A clear communicator who can explain accounting concepts to non-accountants.

- Proactive in flagging risk and improving process.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required (or actively pursuing).

- Progressive accounting experience, with some exposure to team coordination or supervisory responsibilities.

- Prior public accounting experience preferred.

- Strong Excel skills and comfort working across accounting systems and technologies.
