Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for focused and committed individuals to join our data-driven global operations team as Siepe grows in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you’ll support clients across the US and European private credit markets, along with the structured finance industry. This role requires non-standard working hours (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM Malaysia time) to align with our clients’ business hours. You will have a hands-on experience with technology-enabled solutions and leading vendor platforms, along with access to training, resources, and coaching to help you build your knowledge and grow within the role.

What You'll Be Doing

- Read and interpret agent bank notices, settlement documents, and credit documents with care and attention to detail.

- Build your knowledge of key deal documents, like indentures, loan agreements, and prospectuses.

- Create and review a variety of client reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

- Develop a good understanding of data mapping and confidently resolve reconciliation issues.

- Manage transactions smoothly, making sure all notifications are acted upon and clearly communicated.

- You’ll also have the chance to: - Settle trades and double-check trade bookings. - Handle daily reconciliation of cash and loan trades through Siepe’s financial technology platform. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies by checking source documents and external databases. - Review and analyze reports and loan data pulls. - Tackle data mapping and resolve any reconciliation challenges. - Keep asset data and client portfolio positions accurate and up to date. - Build borrowing base and waterfall compliance models and reports. - Work closely with other teams to iron out data maintenance and reconciliation issues. - Share your thoughts on system improvements and help streamline workflow processes. - Ensure our work aligns with SOC 2 compliance and risk management standards. - Pitch in on other tasks as needed, including contributing to mini projects like financial data extraction, regulated reporting

This role involves working with data including updating and reconciling data but please note that this is not a 'data analyst' role.

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree required. Degrees in Accounting, Finance/Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science are preferred; other disciplines and qualifications may also be considered.

- Up to two years of total professional work experience.

- Prior financial services experience is not required, though up to two years of relevant industry experience (e.g., loan operations or credit markets) is a plus.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Excel skills.

- Understanding of financial spreadsheets preferred.

- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

- Ability to manage high volumes of data and reports with strong attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.

- Demonstrated ownership, accuracy, and timeliness in completing responsibilities while consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.

- Focused on deliverables and deadlines with a methodological, process-driven approach to work.

- Self-aware, collaborative, and adaptable with a growth mindset and the ability to navigate complexity and change.

- Resilient, flexible, highly motivated, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic and professionalism.

- Ability to comply with and uphold standard policies and procedures while promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.

- Fluent in written and spoken English; conversational Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
