Manufacturing Production Planner

Duties & Responsibilities • Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term production schedules for GMP and non-GMP manufacturing activities.

• Establish manufacturing priorities based on business objectives, client commitments, material availability and resource constraints.

• Monitor schedule adherence and communicate schedule changes, delays, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.

• Facilitate weekly and daily scheduling meetings and communicate updates to cross-functional teams.

• Develop and maintain manufacturing capacity models, identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations to improve throughput, utilization, and monthly production planning processes.

• Evaluate facility, equipment, labor, and material constraints impacting production schedules.

• Maintain accurate planning data within ERP, MES, MRP, or scheduling systems.

Required Skills & Abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing planning and scheduling principles.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of production scheduling, planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain experience, preferably in a GMP environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CDMO, clinical manufacturing, or early-phase development experience highly desirable.

Physical Requirements • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly

• Adheres to consistent and predictable in-person attendance
