Visual Designer / Japan

We are looking for a Visual Designer to join our growing team in Japan.

At R/GA, we design businesses and brands for a more human future.

On any given day you might:

 

• Create designs such as user interfaces, design systems, layouts, brand identity, iconography, and presentation narratives.

• Craft Japanese and English typography.

• Integrate AI and emerging tools into the design process to enhance creativity and  execution.

• Collaborate with internal and external design teams.

• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

• Contribute and maintain design systems.

• Deliver clear, inspirational and effective communications to teams/client.

• Demonstrate passion for clients and their business.

• Are currently living in Japan and able to communicate in Japanese and English.

You bring

 

• 2+ years experience of interface and brand design.

• Proficiency in design software including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and emerging AI tools.

• Outstanding presentation and written communication in both Japanese and English.

• Passion for innovation and craft as well as experimentation with technology.

• Motion skills are a plus.
