About the role:
The Medical Writer Supervisor’s work focuses on developing and supervising scientific content (from slide decks to monographs, promotional materials, abstracts, article reviews, congress reports and more).
Key responsibilities:
• Supervision of medical and publication strategies.
• Devising medical and publication strategy
• Competitive intelligence analysis
• Bibliographic background research
• Creation, editing, and validation of scientific materials
• Ensuring proper referencing and scientific accuracy of all materials.Incorporating all feedback provided by the client in a proper and timely manner
• KOL management
Skills & Experience
• Must have a health science degree (e.g. in biology, pharmacy or medicine). PhD is a plus
• 5 years of experience in medical writing and scientific content supervision.
• Ability to communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences
• Key Opinion Leaders management
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail and absolute reliability in meeting delivery deadlines
• Native/Bilingual English; Spanish is a plus
• Team player who can foster positive relationships between the department and other agency teams, such as creatives and account managers
• Experience with reference managers such as EndNote is a plus
