Role:  Social Media Manager

Location:  KINGST ON , 3 days/week in office requirement

About the role:

You'll act as the social specialist for a group of ice cream brands, turning consumer insight and cultural trends into entertaining, platform-native content. You'll work closely with Content Creators and creative teams, guide content from idea to publication, and use performance data to keep improving results. Clients and colleagues will look to you for reliable social knowledge and guidance. You'll make day-to-day calls on community responses and content approach within brand guidelines, and contribute to channel strategy and client conversations.

What you will be doing:

• Use social listening to track trends, community conversations and creator content, and turn what you learn into content and comments.

• Monitor feeds for opportunities to bring the brand into culture. Lead the identification of reactive moments and coordinate the brand's response in good time.

• Identify new influencers and creators for partnership opportunities.

• Write copy for organic posts and paid content.

• Develop content ideas from briefs and trends, and bring fresh ideas that deepen community engagement.

• Collaborate with Content Creators and the creative team, leading the briefing of content creation.

• Guide platform best practice so all content for your brands is native to each platform.

• Review client briefs critically and support brief development for creative teams and partners.

• Help craft tone of voice guidance and FAQ copy for the brands' social channels.

• Support the development of social channel strategy workstreams, and plan and create social content calendars.

• Present content ideas and social strategy to clients. Track and report on content performance and social analytics, and recommend changes to improve results.

What you need to be great in this role:

• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, with a creative eye for content that fits the platform and the brand.

• A keen interest in digital trends and popular culture, and the ability to respond quickly to cultural moments that help tell the brand's story.

• A proactive, strategic approach. You spot opportunities to create content and help clients reach their business goals.

• Confidence building trusted relationships with internal teams, other departments and clients.

• Understanding of paid media and the role of influencers and creators.

• Experience with social media management tools such as Sprinklr and Meta Business Suite (Proficient).

• Organisation and calm judgement when managing multiple priorities and tight timelines.

• Exposure to strategy and client-facing work.

• Experience in FMCG, food or snacks is helpful, but not essential.

• Advanced use of Gen AI tools relevant to social content to enhance creative output and efficiency.

• Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for yourself and your team.
