About the Role

As a Mid-Level Product Designer , you’ll shape intuitive digital products from initial flows and wireframes through polished, consistent interfaces. Working within a .Monks delivery team, you’ll collaborate with product leaders, engineers, and clients to turn complex requirements into user-focused experiences that ship. You’ll also work alongside AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex and help advance agentic design and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end product experiences, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces

• Translate briefs and requirements into clear, thoughtful, and well-reasoned design solutions

• Build and maintain reusable design patterns and contribute to scalable design systems

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver usable, production-ready interfaces

• Partner with clients and teammates to communicate design rationale and align on solutions

• Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback, usability findings, and product needs

• Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across the product experience

• Apply AI-powered tools and agentic workflows throughout the design and delivery process

• Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of product or UI design experience, supported by a strong portfolio of shipped work

• Fluency with Figma

• Strong command of typography, color, layout, interaction design, spacing, and visual consistency

• Experience designing web application interfaces, not only marketing assets

• A user-focused approach and attention to the details that make complex workflows feel simple

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong English communication skills at a B2 level or higher , with the ability to present design rationale to clients and teammates

• Openness to feedback and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineers

• Curiosity about emerging technology and the evolving relationship between design, AI, and engineering

• Fluency working alongside AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or Codex

• Experience with large-scale design systems is a plus

• Prototyping or motion design experience is a plus

• Frontend literacy in HTML, CSS, or React is a plus

• Experience designing AI-powered products is a plus

• Deep accessibility knowledge is a plus
