We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician – Diesel Generators to support the maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel generator systems. The role requires hands-on experience with leading generator brands and strong technical knowledge of generator electrical components, control panels, controllers, and associated wiring systems.
Key Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel generator maintenance and troubleshooting .
• Hands-on experience working with diesel generator brands such as Cummins, Caterpillar, SDMO, Perkins , and other leading manufacturers.
• Experience working with:
• Alternators
• ATS/AMF panels
• Generator controllers
• Battery chargers
• Electrical wiring
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams .
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical .
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of DSE, ComAp, PowerCommand, or SmartGen controllers .
• Previous experience working in the GCC .
• Valid driving license.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel generator systems.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults affecting generator operation.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot alternators, ATS/AMF panels, controllers, battery chargers, and electrical wiring .
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities on generators from Cummins, Caterpillar, SDMO, Perkins , and other manufacturers.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams during maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Work with generator control systems and controllers, including DSE, ComAp, PowerCommand, and SmartGen , where applicable.
• Support the reliable operation of diesel generator electrical systems through appropriate maintenance and fault diagnosis.
