Role Summary

We're looking for a Lead Designer who combines strong visual craft with exceptional creative instincts. This is a hands-on role for someone who can contribute to design direction and creative concept development, executing compelling creative work across a wide range of brand assets, including digital and physical surfaces.

The ideal candidate has experience in-house within a brand, creative, or design studio environment. They understand how to build a brand — translating positioning into culturally-relevant visual worlds, graphics, and collateral through distinctive visual systems, guidelines, and strong art direction. They are equally comfortable from initial concept through final design execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual narratives for brand assets, product launches, content initiatives, and brand programs

• Art direct photography, motion, illustration, and content programs to ensure a cohesive and elevated brand expression

• Create mood boards, creative territories, storyboards, and visual frameworks that bring ideas to life

• Design high-quality creative across digital, social, web, presentations, events, editorial, and marketing touchpoints

• Partner with writers, strategists, marketers, creative groups, and cross-functional teams to create impactful brand experiences

• Collaborate with external agencies, photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, and production partners throughout the creative process

• Help evolve and maintain brand guidelines, visual systems, and creative standards

• Translate strategic briefs into compelling concepts that are both creatively ambitious and grounded in business objectives

• Present and communicate creative ideas with clarity and confidence

• Stay current on culture, design, photography, fashion, media, and emerging creative trends that influence modern brand building

Minimum Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in brand design, art direction, visual design, and creative development

• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept-driven work and exceptional visual execution

• Experience working in-house with a brand, plus experience at a creative agency, brand studio, or design consultancy

• Proven ability to contribute to and execute art direction across campaigns, content, photography, and digital experiences

• Strong understanding of branding, visual identity systems, typography, layout, composition, color, and storytelling

• Demonstrated ability to move from insight and concept through final execution

• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong competency within AI workflows that optimize creative development and brand/design management across an organization

• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced creative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Thinks conceptually before designing

• Has a refined visual point of view and a passion for brand building

• Understands how imagery, motion, typography, and storytelling work together to create emotional connection

• Can develop creative territories, visual worlds, and campaign ideas, not just individual assets

• Balances strategic thinking with a strong maker mentality

• Brings strong taste, curiosity, and attention to craft

• Excels in collaborative studio environments and enjoys building alongside other creatives

• Experience working with premium consumer audiences, across technology, automotive, fashion/lifestyle, or luxury brands

•

• Motion design, illustration, AI-assisted creative exploration, or content creation experience

•

• Experience contributing to brand launches, rebrands, or large-scale integrated campaigns
