What the employer wrote

Why loveholidays?

We’re on a mission to open the world to everyone, giving our customers unlimited choice, unmatched ease and unmissable value for their next getaway.

Our trailblaze together culture is what drives our success, powered by our people and the way they work. Using progressive technology, we drive cutting-edge innovation and improve how our customers discover, book and experience their holidays. You’ll have the opportunity to accelerate your growth through meaningful challenges, new experiences and the freedom to shape your own path. You’ll create impact for our future by taking ownership, contributing to shared goals and helping shape what comes next, all as part of our enhanced international community of talented, collaborative and passionate teams.

The difference you’ll make:

You’ll sit in the Finance team, reporting to the Assistant Treasurer. You’ll work closely with Commercial Finance, FP&A, Reporting, and Finance Ops. Our Finance team plays a crucial role in driving the success of the business by managing budgets and liquidity, forecasting performance, and providing strategic insights. We ensure financial stability and support our business partners in decision-making.

Finance sits within our Enablement function, providing the expertise, structure and challenge that help loveholidays operate at its best. Through clear frameworks, trusted partnerships and practical guidance, we support better decisions, manage risk and create strong foundations for sustainable growth.

Your day-to-day:

- Financial Planning & Commercial Strategy: Own key components of the annual budget and forecasting cycles, leveraging Anaplan to build robust models. Partner with wider business stakeholders to drive strategic insights, identify variance drivers for working capital, and provide data-driven recommendations that influence decision-making.

- Cash & Liquidity Management: Manage daily cash operations, including liquidity monitoring, and investment activities to maximise returns and reduce idle cash. Drive the end-to-end process for the 13-week cash flow forecast - from gathering inputs and analysing variances to refining assumptions, ensuring high-confidence projections for senior management.

- Risk Exposure: Actively manage financial risk in the business, including FX, counterparty, and interest rates.

- Process Innovation & Automation: Champion continuous improvement by identifying manual tasks across Finance and Treasury. Drive automation projects — to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and create scalable workflows, while training our shared service centre to take on operational day to day responsibilities.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between your team and the wider Finance team, ensuring seamless communication and supporting ad-hoc financial projects that align with company-wide business and growth goals.

Your skillset:

- Qualified Accountant (minimum 2+ years post qual)

- You have: a background in commercial finance with interest in developing Treasury exposure, or a background in Treasury and interest in wider commercial finance

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proven experience using AI to accelerate delivery and improve efficiency

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting

- Excellent stakeholder management experience

- Organised, task focused and will go the extra mile to get things done
