Leavitt Risk Advisory is seeking a Claims Advocate to serve as a trusted advisor for commercial insurance clients by providing claims management, advocacy, and strategic support throughout the claims process. This role partners with clients, insurance carriers, adjusters, and internal teams to improve claim outcomes, control costs, and deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary claims resource for assigned commercial clients.

- Assist with investigations, documentation, and claim-related questions.

- Monitor and manage open claims, ensuring timely communication among all parties.

- Review claim reserves, settlement strategies, and claim trends.

- Support workers' compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and claim resolution strategies.

- Prepare claim reports and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Producers, Account Executives, Risk Advisors, carriers, and third-party administrators.

- Identify opportunities to reduce claim costs and improve risk management outcomes.

Qualifications

- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.

- 5+ years of experience in commercial claims, insurance, risk management, or a related field preferred.

- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and claim processes.

- Experience with property and casualty and commercial lines claims is preferred.

- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

- Proficiency with claims systems, agency management platforms, and Microsoft Office.
