Senior Legal Associate (General Commercial)

And we need your help to get us there!   Currently, we are looking for a high-caliber individual to join our Legal team as a Senior Legal Associate (General Commercial) based in Hong Kong.

What you’ll do: • Handle a range of legal work, including drafting, reviewing legal documents and supporting the contract negotiation process for different departments;

• Conducting legal research and analysis on legal/compliance developments that may impact the group’s operations and recommending appropriate courses of action;

• Advise the company on a wide range of litigation and commercial legal issues, support business units with legal advice;

• Developing and implementing legal T&Cs, policies and guidelines to protect the group’s interests and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;

• Providing legal training to business stakeholders on key legal issues and best practices;

• Assisting other senior lawyers with different tasks assigned from time to time and effective administration of the Legal Team.

What you’ll need: • 2-6 years’ post-qualification experience gained from reputable law firms or MNCs.

• Qualified in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions or the U.S.

• Experience in general commercial, and commercial transactions.

• Experience in dealing with regulatory practice relating to international businesses

• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently or in a team.

• Strong sense of responsibility and responsiveness.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines

• Energetic with excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

• Able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
