Delivery is what we do best and we ensure it is always fast and simple.  About the role: The Assistant Sales Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving the acquisition and growth of new corporate accounts within Lalamove for Business. This role supports the Head of Sales by overseeing both the Acquisition Team (focused on signing and activating medium to enterprise clients) and the Business Development (BD) Associate, who leads corporate communications, industry partnerships, and strategic outreach efforts. This role ensures teams hit revenue and activation targets, standardizes sales processes, improves lead-to-win performance, and strengthens coordination between Sales, BD/Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Driver Operations.

What You'll Do: 1. Sales Operations & Pipeline Management

• Drive target achievement across new sign-ups, activations, and new revenue. 

• Ensure high-quality pipeline creation through outbound, inbound, events, and channel marketing activities.

• Monitor deal progression, ensuring timely follow-ups, scoping, solution design, and quoting accuracy. 

 

2. Corporate Communications & Partnerships Management

• B2B marketing coordination

• Industry partnerships and association relationships

• Event support (e.g., conferences, Coffee Chat, business roundtables)

• Producing sales enablement materials (case studies, pitch decks, reports)

• Ensure BD initiatives directly support sales pipeline creation and conversion.

• Strengthen the acquisition funnel from lead generation to activation and expansion. 

 

3. Team Management & Coaching

• Manage direct reports to grow their corresponding new client segments in both volume and quality of accounts 

• Support team members in closing strategic deals or negotiating complex requirements 

 

4. Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Drive strategic optimization of acquisition and BD associate KPIs that would best maximize revenue 

• Ensure CRM hygiene and data accuracy of reports/numbers. 

• Run weekly reviews to assess gaps and deploy corrective actions. 

 

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with other departments (Finance, Legal, CS, and Driver Operations) and stakeholders to drive commercial and operational excellence  

• Align content output (case studies, whitepapers, client success stories) with sales needs.

• Coordinate B2B campaigns that attract high-value prospect and ultimately, align with BD on partnership calendars, event participation, and PR opportunities. 

 

6. Process Innovation & Enablement

• Improve sales SOPs, pitch decks, and industry-specific playbooks.

• Spearhead training on new products/features 

• Implement performance standards for onboarding corporate clients to ensure continuity in revenue generation for their LLM lifetime.

What You'll Need: • Graduate of any four-year course, preferably related to sales or entrepreneurship 

•  Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience in a leadership capacity
