Accountabilities • Lead executive and stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to uncover root-cause business problems and establish project vision, scope, priorities, and success metrics.
• Understand enterprise strategies and translate them into clear business outcomes and technology priorities.
• Map current-state and future-state value streams and business processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or AI augmentation.
• Assess opportunities for full automation versus human-in-the-loop workflows and quantify potential benefits such as reduced cycle times, fewer errors, increased capacity, and improved customer satisfaction.
• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, decision logic, and user journeys for data, AI, ML, and GenAI solutions.
• Define data requirements, including data sources, quality, latency, privacy constraints, and other considerations needed to support successful solutions.
• Specify AI and model-related requirements, including expected behavior, guardrails, explainability, auditability, human oversight, performance, and service-level expectations.
• Navigate complex organizational structures and competing priorities to build consensus and maintain alignment among stakeholders.
• Support PoCs, pilots, experimentation, and rollout activities, including test design, feedback loops, training, communications, and updates to standard operating procedures.
• Partner with architects and development teams to ensure proposed solutions address business needs and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain ownership of the quality and readiness of business analysis deliverables while coaching and mentoring project team members.
• Track project outcomes and ensure continued alignment between business objectives, implementation decisions, and success metrics.
• Use Generative AI tools and agentic technologies to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, synthesis, and solution design while critically validating outputs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor throughout data and AI transformation initiatives.
• Contribute reusable business analysis frameworks, templates, artifacts, and best practices across projects.
Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in business analysis or product development, ideally within data, analytics, technology, or AI-driven environments.
• 4+ years of experience working in a client-facing consulting environment.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate executive interviews, stakeholder workshops, and discovery sessions across multiple business domains and organizational levels.
• Strong ability to transform ambiguous business needs into structured requirements, user stories, process models, and actionable solution concepts.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data, AI, and technology concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, or equivalent platforms.
• Hands-on experience using AI or Generative AI tools to improve business analysis and client delivery activities.
• Understanding of data, analytics, AI/ML, GenAI, automation, and their application to business transformation.
• Familiarity with organizational adoption and change management practices, as well as established strategy and transformation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a natural curiosity for understanding the underlying “why” behind business challenges.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where requirements and solutions evolve through discovery and experimentation.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to the development of reusable business analysis assets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, facilitate alignment, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions.
• Ability to connect business objectives, technical possibilities, implementation realities, and measurable outcomes.
