Accountabilities • Serve as the strategic internal communications partner to the People organization, developing and executing communications strategies for People programs, initiatives, and company-wide rollouts.
• Advise senior People executives on high-stakes communications, including organizational changes, policy updates, leadership transitions, and sensitive company announcements.
• Develop clear, compelling, and human-centered messaging that helps employees and leaders understand priorities, changes, and their impact.
• Own internal communications for the People team, including monthly town halls, leadership communications, employee resources, and initiatives that strengthen awareness, alignment, and culture.
• Write, edit, and refine executive-level content such as Chief People Officer communications, town hall scripts, company announcements, FAQs, and other employee-facing materials.
• Translate People programs and initiatives into clear value propositions and narratives for employees and organizational leaders.
• Build scalable communications infrastructure, including editorial calendars, communication playbooks, operating rhythms, and measurement frameworks.
• Coordinate with the broader Internal Communications function and cross-functional partners to ensure messaging is timely, consistent, and aligned with the broader company narrative.
• Use employee insights, engagement data, and communications analytics to measure effectiveness and continuously improve strategies and content.
• Introduce responsible AI-enabled workflows to scale communications production while maintaining appropriate human oversight, quality, and strategic judgment.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and senior stakeholders while maintaining a coordinated communications strategy.
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in internal communications, strategic communications, change communications, product marketing, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience advising C-suite or VP-level leaders on complex, sensitive, and high-stakes communications.
• Proven track record of developing executive communications and content that drives measurable employee engagement, understanding, adoption, or business outcomes.
• Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and narrative-development skills, with the ability to make complex subjects clear, relevant, and compelling.
• Strong executive presence and interpersonal effectiveness, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and establish credibility with senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a broad portfolio of initiatives involving multiple senior stakeholders while maintaining consistency and strategic focus.
• Experience creating communications processes, systems, operating rhythms, and measurement frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of change communications, employee engagement, organizational communications, and executive communications.
• Excellent judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, or high-impact organizational matters.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across People, Internal Communications, and other cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to use generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight while improving communications efficiency, quality, cost, and scalability.
• Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
