Accountabilities • Own the long-term brand strategy, positioning, visual identity, and brand architecture, establishing a clear point of view that can guide teams across the organization.
• Lead the creative studio across brand design, campaigns, digital experiences, photography, brand films, and high-production video, ensuring consistently high-quality creative output.
• Develop and oversee major campaign concepts from initial idea through execution across channels, including high-impact brand moments and culturally relevant initiatives.
• Partner with Product Design to integrate brand visual systems—including illustration, photography, motion, and other creative elements—into customer-facing product experiences and design systems.
• Build scalable brand governance systems that enable marketing and product teams to self-serve while maintaining clear standards, quality, and brand consistency.
• Partner with engineering to develop and maintain an AI-enabled, accessible brand system that helps teams evaluate and improve their work without relying on manual approval processes.
• Establish effective collaboration models between the creative studio, content, social, creator marketing, communications, experiential, and product teams.
• Lead partnership marketing initiatives, including co-marketing programs, retail activations, branded content, and sponsorships, while protecting brand integrity and delivering value for commercial partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external creative and production partners to extend internal capabilities and deliver sophisticated work efficiently.
• Shape demand-generation creative strategy and learning, using insights and performance results to improve future campaigns and customer acquisition efforts.
• Present strategic recommendations, creative direction, and partnership opportunities to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the creative and partnership marketing organization, fostering high standards, collaboration, experimentation, and efficient execution.
Requirements
• 8+ years of senior-level experience in consumer brand strategy, creative leadership, brand marketing, or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience building and scaling a brand system.
• Proven ability to lead brand positioning, architecture, visual identity, and integrated creative strategy rather than focusing solely on visual execution.
• Significant experience developing major campaigns and translating a central creative idea across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
• Direct experience overseeing photography, brand films, high-production video, and other sophisticated creative production, ideally within a lean or fast-moving organization.
• Demonstrated success building scalable brand systems, governance frameworks, or self-service tools that enable teams to create high-quality work without becoming dependent on centralized approval.
• Experience partnering closely with Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, Content, Communications, and other cross-functional teams to create cohesive customer experiences.
• Strong understanding of partnership marketing, including co-marketing, retail activations, sponsorships, branded content, and commercial brand partnerships.
• Excellent strategic judgment, creative taste, and the ability to balance brand consistency with speed, experimentation, and business objectives.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex brand and creative strategies clearly to senior leaders and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, high-growth environments and build new capabilities from the ground up.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• A practical and forward-looking approach to AI, with experience using AI tools to improve creative workflows, automate manual processes, or increase team capacity; familiarity with tools such as Claude or ChatGPT is advantageous.
