• Lead strategic account planning and engagement activities that improve customer retention, profitability, expansion opportunities, and overall account performance.

• Serve as the senior commercial leader for major opportunities, escalations, strategic initiatives, and complex customer engagements, coordinating with internal teams to achieve strong outcomes.

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing sales representatives and business partners while establishing clear expectations and accountability for regional performance.

• Conduct regular performance, pipeline, forecasting, territory, and business reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure disciplined sales execution.

• Promote consistent adoption of approved sales processes, CRM tools, forecasting practices, and commercial best practices across the regional organization.

• Maintain accurate pipeline records, forecasts, territory plans, revenue reporting, and other sales performance information to support effective planning and decision-making.

• Use CRM data, business analytics, and performance metrics to prioritize opportunities, allocate resources, identify trends, and improve regional productivity.

• Manage regional resources and investments to maximize sales effectiveness, return on investment, operational efficiency, and speed to market.

• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to improve customer outcomes, resolve escalations, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen commercial execution.

• Ensure regional activities comply with applicable policies, operational standards, and approved business practices while maintaining a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and results.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, business development, or strategic account management is required.

• Demonstrated success driving profitable growth, market expansion, new business acquisition, strategic account development, and revenue performance is essential.

• Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams, independent representatives, business partners, or multi-channel sales networks is strongly valued.

• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to develop and execute regional strategies that balance revenue growth, profitability, market share, customer retention, and long-term business value are required.

• Proven experience building executive-level customer relationships, managing strategic accounts, negotiating significant opportunities, and influencing senior stakeholders is important.

• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, CRM, and business analytics capabilities are expected, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CRM platforms.

• Excellent leadership and people-development skills are required, including the ability to recruit, coach, motivate, retain, and hold sales professionals accountable for performance.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills are essential, with the ability to interpret market intelligence, sales metrics, competitive information, and customer trends to identify commercial opportunities.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills are required for engaging customers, partners, sales teams, and internal stakeholders at multiple levels.

• A proactive, self-directed, and results-oriented mindset is important, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a performance-driven environment.

• Strong organizational and planning abilities are required to manage complex opportunities, regional initiatives, forecasts, and account strategies simultaneously.
