Accountabilities: • Own end-to-end delivery across a regional portfolio of active US construction projects, including project mobilisation, resource planning, field team coordination, site visits, audits, and regular performance reviews.
• Lead and develop geographically distributed teams of Lead Site Engineers, Site Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Graduate Engineers, including hiring, performance management, wellbeing, leave planning, and inter-project resource allocation.
• Act as the primary client escalation point above Lead Site Engineers, managing senior relationships, conducting regular client meetings and site visits, and ensuring consistently high service delivery.
• Maintain accountability for project and portfolio safety, quality, schedule, and commercial performance, ensuring delivery aligns with established operational and H&S standards.
• Review quality assurance reports and project progress captures before client submission, ensuring accuracy and addressing issues before they impact delivery.
• Troubleshoot technology, product, and software issues encountered on project sites and coordinate escalation to technical teams when required.
• Ensure regional field teams maintain appropriate qualifications, certifications, credentials, and pre-deployment compliance requirements.
• Own P&L performance at both project and regional portfolio level, monitoring commercial outcomes and supporting opportunities for account growth.
• Deliver workshops, Lunch & Learn sessions, and other engagement activities to strengthen adoption of digital construction solutions and deepen client relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other internal teams on client events, content, product development discussions, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify operational improvements and opportunities to enhance delivery processes, team performance, customer satisfaction, and commercial results.
Requirements:
• Proven experience managing multi-site field delivery operations within a construction, engineering, technical services, or related environment.
• Strong people leadership experience, including hiring, developing, managing, and motivating geographically dispersed teams.
• Solid understanding of construction workflows, BIM models, site engineering practices, and project delivery environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior client relationships across major construction projects and contractual environments such as GC, EPC, EPCM, or Owner's Engineer arrangements.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing P&L targets, project budgets, and opportunities to expand existing customer accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with field teams, clients, senior stakeholders, and executive audiences.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, teams, priorities, and escalations simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence working with project delivery and reporting tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites across the US.
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening processes.
• Experience with augmented reality, BIM, digital construction technology, or similar solutions is advantageous, but a strong aptitude and willingness to learn are also valued.
• Familiarity with cost and schedule management platforms such as Primavera P6, Oracle, SAP, or EcoSys is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 or equivalent health and safety management systems is desirable.
• A project management qualification such as PMP, APM, or PRINCE2, or a degree/qualification in construction or engineering, is beneficial.
