Accountabilities • Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll customers, ensuring their payroll requirements are accurately understood and transitioned into the appropriate payroll products and services.
• Analyze customer payroll needs and provide practical recommendations based on payroll processes, statutory requirements, and country-specific considerations.
• Manage new customer implementations end to end, including collecting required customer and employee payroll data for each legal entity and configuring the global payroll system.
• Coordinate parallel payroll runs, reconcile wage-based taxes, and verify that payroll and tax configurations comply with applicable statutory regulations.
• Coordinate payroll go-live activities and ensure accurate, complete payroll information is successfully handed over to the Payroll Operations team.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with customers, teammates, supervisors, and vendors while building positive working relationships that support customer satisfaction and retention.
• Provide customer and employee support and training on payroll processes and country-specific payroll requirements, ensuring requests and issues receive accurate information and effective follow-up.
• Protect the confidentiality of customer and employee information throughout implementation and ongoing interactions.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of process documentation and work with internal teams on platform improvements, including UAT testing through release.
Requirements:
• Bring several years of experience in global payroll implementation, including knowledge of statutory tax regulations and payroll processing requirements.
• Have several years of technical implementation and setup experience using local payroll software, with a strong understanding of end-to-end global payroll and HR processes.
• Demonstrate practical experience in payroll operations, statutory requirements, and accounting reconciliations.
• Have excellent data management skills, with a consistently high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work with sensitive information.
• Be experienced in managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, with strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
• Bring an analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, technical aptitude, computer literacy, data analysis skills, and critical thinking.
• Be customer-focused and capable of developing effective working relationships while communicating clearly with customers, colleagues, supervisors, and vendors.
• Be proactive and ownership-oriented, with the ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced international environment.
• Have a strong interest in productivity and process optimization, with a willingness to identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation.
• Be proficient in Google Sheets or Excel and comfortable working within a MacBook Pro environment.
• Be comfortable working largely asynchronously and managing priorities effectively in a distributed team.
• Have fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience working remotely is a plus, as is familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, Monday.com, Salesforce , or DACH payroll software.
