Accountabilities • Champion Performance Materials technologies and capabilities, aligning solutions with targeted customer applications, market requirements, and business opportunities.

• Work closely with channel teams and distribution partners to identify existing, prospective, and new customers across priority markets and applications.

• Increase customer reach through distribution by identifying opportunities to introduce products to new users, markets, and applications.

• Support the identification, influence, and conversion of indirect sales opportunities from initial engagement through project development and closure.

• Translate customer requirements and market intelligence into actionable inputs for new product introduction and portfolio development.

• Use Voice of Customer tools to identify technology trends, strategic priorities, and connectivity requirements, communicating relevant insights to internal teams.

• Contribute to marketing and strategic initiatives focused on expanding solutions into adjacent markets and targeted applications.

• Maintain accurate customer records, opportunity information, and pipeline data within the CRM system to support forecasting, reporting, and effective opportunity management.

• Collaborate across functions and manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

• Travel extensively across Europe, approximately 50%–75% of the time , to support customers and channel partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline; alternatively, a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of sales experience , with 5–7 years preferred , particularly involving engineered electronics, electrical solutions, advanced materials, or other technical products.

• Experience with material-science-based solutions such as heat-shrink tubing, liquid sealing technologies, or EMI-shielding materials is highly advantageous.

• Previous experience supporting customers or applications within the automotive sector is a plus.

• Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness and a demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into appropriate solutions.

• Proven business development and sales skills, including pipeline creation, opportunity conversion, customer acquisition, and design-in influence.

• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust with customers, channel partners, and senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with a practical, results-oriented approach.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical and commercial information persuasively.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Europe, approximately 50%–75% of the time .
