Sr. Fullstack Software Engineer

Our company, National Retail Solutions (NRS),  currently a wholly owned subsidiary of IDT Corporation, is revolutionizing the independent retail industry by providing them with cost-effective, state of the art point of sale systems and complementary services such as apps for store management and consumer ordering, web store front for the store, and loyalty programs allowing small retailers to more effectively compete with the larger store chains and online merchants.  We have over 26 thousand POS units deployed across the US at this time. Our development team is in search of a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer position to enhance our POS ecosystem for a new target market.  The ideal candidate possesses a can-do attitude, thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is highly motivated to deliver software to production.

Requirements •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

• Minimum 5 years professional experience in a full-stack development role.

• Professional experience with: Angular.js , Vue.js or ReactJS frontend, Node.js and ExpressJS backend (or other NodeJS framework).

• Working knowledge of PHP and Slim Framework.

• Professional experience using SQL for database access.- Understanding security best practices for implementation.

• Experience with distributed source code control (GIT).

• Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.

• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: clients, executives, - managers, and coworkers.-

• Working knowledge of Linux.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-have requirements:

• Experience with github, Jira, Docker.- Experience with postgres.

• SQL query performance optimization.

• Working Knowledge of Lubuntu.

• Working knowledge of AWS services.

• Working knowledge of Swagger.
