Your role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for the Private Landlord market, your primary mission is to expand HousingAnywhere's inventory by actively hunting and onboarding new property owners. 

The Private Landlord team is a key driver of our marketplate’s growth and is now expanding. We are looking for a new Business Development Representative to own the German market growth end-to-end. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, combining high-volume phone outreach with a data-driven approach to identify opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Outbound Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and acquire new private landlords primarily through cold calling and proactive outreach.

• End-to-End Onboarding: Educate landlords on product features, supporting them closely until they successfully score their first booking.

• Expectation & Objection Management: Confidently handle complex landlord objections while maintaining a professional partnership.

• Success & Revenue Optimization: Train landlords to use the product effectively to maximize their occupancy and revenue, while driving commercial growth.

• Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with landlords, acting as their trusted point of contact.

• Data-Driven City Strategy: Monitor your local portfolio performance, analyze the data and take action to improve your metrics.

• Product Advocacy & Problem Solving: Maintain a sharp eye for product issues in the user journey and proactively share actionable feedback. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Customer Success teams to continuously elevate the landlord experience.

• Innovation: Proactively identify and support opportunities to improve processes through automation and AI.

 

Your profile

• Native German  and fluent in English.

• Hunter Mentality: Proven experience or strong comfort with high-volume cold calling and managing a pipeline from scratch.

• Commercial Polish: Excellent communication skills to negotiate and build trust over the phone.

• Growth Mindset: Highly self-motivated and passionate about learning and improving.

• Resilience & Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays positive through change and rejection.

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to look at data to identify opportunities and improve performance.

• Depending on experience and qualifications, the compensation is ~35K gross per year (based on 40 hours, including Holiday Allowance), plus variable.
