ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join the team building Glow's Endpoint Agent.

This team builds the software that runs directly on our customers' endpoints. It's a highly technical role focused on low-level systems programming and building reliable, production-grade software.

You'll work on an endpoint agent written primarily in Rust, building capabilities that run directly on customer devices. This is desktop software that lives inside the operating system, making it one of the most visible and critical parts of our product.

If you enjoy understanding how operating systems work, writing efficient systems code, and solving hard engineering problems close to the OS, this is a rare opportunity to do that in one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity startups.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Design and build core capabilities for Glow's Endpoint Agent.

- Develop high-performance software in Rust and C++ that runs directly on customer endpoints.

- Build features that interact closely with Windows and macOS internals.

- Work across backend services and endpoint components to deliver end-to-end functionality.

- Partner closely with Product, Security Research, and Platform Engineering to bring new capabilities to customers.

- Build reliable, production-grade software with performance, stability, and security in mind.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- 5+ years of software engineering experience.

- Experience developing low-level or systems software using Rust, C++, or similar languages.

- Strong understanding of operating systems and system internals.

- Experience working on Windows, macOS, or Linux at the OS level.

- Ability to build production-quality software that interacts closely with the operating system.

- Strong engineering fundamentals.

- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

EVEN BETTER IF YOU ALSO BRING
