At this Academy, you will be challenged with intensive training, both theoretical and in realistic labs, so you can be ready for Crossjoin's projects. Here, you’ll not only sharpen your technical abilities but also refine your soft skills, preparing you to face real-world challenges.
Responsabilities:
- User Support: Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues reported by colleagues.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Set up user accounts, configure and deploy hardware/software for new employees, deactivate accounts, and collect equipment for departures.
- Basic Network & Server Maintenance: Assist senior IT staff in monitoring network performance, checking logs, and supporting evolving infrastructure needs.
- Documentation & Internal Guides: Create and update guides and documentation for resolving frequent IT issues.
- Security & Incident Support: Act as the first responder to security or suspicious activity reports; facilitate information gathering and escalation.
- Scripting & Automation: Maintain and write basic automation scripts (e.g., with Python) for repetitive tasks.
- Internal Tool Support: Troubleshoot user-reported issues, apply minor updates, and ensure smooth operation of internally developed tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in an IT field
- Hands-on experience with first-line technical support
- Involvement in projects related to system administration, networking, or IT security
- Resilience in problem-solving and pressure situations
- Autonomy and responsibility
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
Technical Skills (required or willingness to learn)
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux, MacOS
- Networking: Basic understanding (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, switches, WiFi)
- Virtualization concepts
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (fundamentals)
- Databases: Postgres, MySQL
- Security fundamentals: VPN, firewall, SIEM, monitoring
Nice to Have
- Programming: Python, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js (TypeScript)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) exposure (VertexAI, Cloud SQL, etc.)
