Principal, Tech Executive Recruiter

 

Summary:

 

The Tech Executive Recruitment team at Coupang is seeking a Principal, Tech Executive Recruiter to lead efforts in identifying, hiring, and onboarding top technology leaders. Partnering with senior executives and leadership teams across core and emerging business lines, including eCommerce Engineering, Global Operations Technology, CX, Rocket Growth, CIC, Retail Product, EATS, Security Engineering and Pay, this role will focus on building world-class executive talent pipelines across multiple geographies.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior internal customers to understand their hiring needs.

• Devise and carry out a targeted global search strategy.

• Build world-class global executive talent pipelines, directly sourced.

• Drive recruitment intelligence through the internal CRM platform.

• Attract top-tier technical talent across South Korea, Singapore, India, US and deliver recruitment results.

• Present a superior company pitch to candidates.

• Assess candidates for qualification match, cultural fit, and compatibility.

• Influence the offer stage, present Coupang’s career vision and compensation philosophy, and negotiate successfully.

• Partner with the Global Mobility Team to facilitate candidate relocation.

• Improve recruitment processes and drive best practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in full-cycle recruiting.

• Experience in a tier-1 internet company or high-growth challenger brand.

• Agency experience is nice-to-have.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Analytical thinker with a bias for action and ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

• Sound business judgment and proven ability to communicate and influence at executive levels.

• Strategic thinker with strong tactical execution skills in an agile environment.
