What the employer wrote

For more than 25 years, Corcept has been singularly focused on the science of cortisol, a powerful hormone that when unregulated, can play a role in a broad range of diseases.

Our commercial portfolio includes treatments for hypercortisolism and oncology, and the company has discovered more than 1,000 proprietary selective cortisol modulators and glucocorticoid receptor antagonists. With advanced clinical trials in patients with hypercortisolism, solid tumors, ALS and liver disease, Corcept is unlocking the power of cortisol modulation to help address some of the most devastating diseases patients face today.

Manage all aspects of event execution, including timelines, budgets, venue and space planning, catering, vendors, audiovisual needs, signage, décor, registration, transportation, and other event logistics. Serve as the primary onsite point of contact during events, proactively resolving issues and adapting to changing circumstances to ensure a seamless experience.

Coordinate event setup and breakdown, including moving tables, chairs, signage, supplies, and other event materials as needed.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:

• Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Experience managing multiple events, timelines, vendors, and priorities simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels

• Positive, solutions-oriented attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed

• Can lift (25 lbs)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of professional event management experience, preferably managing corporate, employee, or large-scale events

• Experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry ideal
