ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an engineering and R&D team building autonomous robotic systems for drone-based delivery. You will take systems from prototype through integration and field validation, helping support safe and reliable operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Design and integrate robotic mechanisms, sensors, actuators, controllers, and drone payload systems.

- Develop control, navigation, path-planning, and obstacle-avoidance capabilities.

- Program robotics software with ROS or ROS 2 and C++ or Python, and validate systems in simulation.

- Integrate flight controllers, companion computers, communications, and telemetry with drone systems.

- Build, troubleshoot, and validate robotic systems in the field, including analysis of flight logs.

- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and software teams to develop and deploy prototypes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in robotics, UAV systems, or autonomous systems.

- Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, control theory, PID, and systems integration.

- Experience with ROS or ROS 2, Linux, and C++ or Python; MATLAB familiarity is useful.

- Experience with PX4 or ArduPilot, MAVLink, flight controllers, motors, ESCs, and batteries.

- Familiarity with IMU, GPS or RTK, LiDAR, sensor fusion, and GPS-denied navigation.

- Embedded systems experience with microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi or Jetson, actuators, and hardware debugging.

- Knowledge of CAN, UART, I2C, and drone telemetry, along with hands-on prototyping and field testing.

- A degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, aerospace, computer science, or a related field.

- Computer vision, machine learning, SLAM, Gazebo, Webots, CAD, or BVLOS experience is a plus.
