Generalist Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a 6-month generalist internship sitting across People, Finance, and Operations at an AI-native fintech compliance platform. You will work directly on the processes that keep a fast-moving company running, from recruiting support to financial operations to onboarding. It is a high-ownership role for someone who learns quickly and gets things done without being asked twice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Support recruiting by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing scheduling across active searches.

- Assist with finance operations including expense matching, receipt tracking, and month-end close support.

- Coordinate travel logistics for the team.

- Support new joiner onboarding, covering equipment, schedules, and first-week setup.

- Research, evaluate, and recommend tools, vendors, and internal processes.

- Take end-to-end ownership of tasks with minimal hand-holding.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in any field.

- 0 to 2 years of experience; no specific domain required.

- Strong written communication in English.

- Hands-on experience with expense tracking, receipt management, or financial operations workflows.

- Experience with recruiting coordination, sourcing, or interview scheduling.

- Proven ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage organizational workflows independently.

- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and switching contexts quickly.

- Proactive by nature, you act without needing to be asked.

- Experience with travel logistics, event planning, or employee onboarding is a plus.

- Familiarity with compliance, KYC, AML, or fintech operations is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Monthly salary of 1,500 to 2,000 EUR. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

LOCATION

On-site in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands. Candidates must be based in or able to relocate to the city for the duration of the internship.
