Mavericks Wanted

When was the last time you achieved the impossible? If that thought feels overwhelming, you might want to pause here, but if it sparks excitement...read on     In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.      Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll work directly with the Senior Medical Director, EU Center, and provide administrative and scientific support to the MSL team and the broader EU Center team across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including support for Veeva MLR review. You’re organized, an excellent communicator, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Team administration: Management of most administrative tasks of the Medical Affairs Central Europe team, such as contract & budget management, conference & meetings management, scientific material management (hard copy & digital), and support for regular field performance reporting management

• Digital enablement: Leverage AI and digital technologies to enhance operational and educational medical activities to ensure operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, ethical, and value-driven use of emerging digital solutions

• Veeva MLR support: Support the medical review of non-promotional scientific (and later in 2027 of promotional) materials in Veeva MLR. This may include checking statements and references against the source publications, preparing review submissions, tracking comments and keeping approval records complete and audit-ready

• Scientific literature support: Run structured literature searches, maintain a library of publications and congress abstracts, and prepare short summaries for the MSL team and other medical colleagues

• Compliance and documentation: Make sure contracts, agreements with third parties, healthcare professionals and related records follow internal policies, industry codes and applicable German law, and keep documentation ready for audits

• Cross-functional liaison: Coordinate timelines, approvals and process questions with Medical Affairs colleagues in Zug and the US and with Legal, Compliance and Regulatory partners. Support the set-up of local processes as the team grows

• Medical information and safety: Log and route unsolicited requests for medical information to the right medical colleague, and forward any adverse event information to the safety team within the required timelines

Where You’ll Work

• This is a Germany field-based role based in the Munich area with a strong back-office management component

• Travel activities will be very limited, e.g. providing support for meeting and conference engagements and attending local team meetings

• Presence at the future office location in Munich / Germany will be required several days per week

• You will be part of a small, international team and work with colleagues in Switzerland and the US, so some flexibility for calls across time zones is expected

Who You Are

• Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, biology, medicine or a related field. The scientific understanding to read and summarize publications and to check statements against source data

• Experience in Medical Affairs, pharma, biotech or clinical research (about 2 years or more), ideally with Veeva MLR or a comparable medical, legal and regulatory review process

• Working knowledge of industry codes and compliance rules for interactions with healthcare professionals in Germany (and ideally in Austria ands Switzerland)

• Fluent German and fluent English, to work effectively with international and US-based colleagues

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good written communication. Confident with MS Office and open to AI and digital tools

• Self-starter, entrepreneurial, with can-do mindset and ability and willingness to organize, prioritize, and work effectively with minimal supervision in a biotech build-out environment
