What the employer wrote

Betsson Group is hiring a Swedish Speaking Compliance Officer to support our Nordic regulatory operations, working at the heart of a fast-growing international iGaming business where your language skills and regional expertise will make a real impact.

The Wow

As a Compliance Officer, you'll play an important role in helping ensure our business meets regulatory requirements across the Nordic markets. Working closely with colleagues across Compliance, Legal, Product and Commercial teams, you'll support regulatory initiatives, monitor compliance obligations, and contribute to maintaining a strong compliance culture. If you're fluent in English and Swedish, have compliance experience, and are looking to develop your career in an international environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.

A taster of what you will be involved with:

• Support regulatory projects and help ensure compliance with licensing and operational obligations across Nordic jurisdictions.

• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in assessing their impact on the business.

• Prepare and review regulatory submissions, including licence applications, reports, and responses to regulatory authorities.

• Work collaboratively with Legal, Product, and Commercial teams to help embed compliance into business processes and product development.

• Assist with the delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives relevant to Nordic regulatory requirements.

• Support regulatory inspections and audits by preparing documentation and coordinating follow-up actions.

• Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory reporting.

• Assist with day-to-day compliance monitoring activities and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for:

• 2-4 years' experience in regulatory compliance or a similar role, ideally within the gambling industry.

• Fluency in both English and Swedish is essential.

• Good understanding of Nordic regulatory frameworks, including AML, KYC, data protection, and licensing requirements.

• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop within a regulatory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Business, or a compliance-related field.

• Experience in regulatory engagement and negotiation.

• Familiarity with compliance technology platforms and data-driven compliance monitoring.
