Position Summary

The Human Resources Specialist & Technology Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s people operations, talent initiatives, and technology systems. This role serves as a strategic partner in developing an exceptional employee experience while ensuring that company technology platforms, software systems, and digital processes support operational efficiency and continued growth.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technology-oriented, and passionate about building scalable systems, improving processes, and supporting employees across all stages of the employment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

- Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.

- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.

- Administer benefits programs, payroll coordination, leave management, and employee communications.

- Support performance management initiatives, employee evaluations, and professional development programs.

- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

- Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.

- Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

- Track key HR metrics including turnover, retention, hiring timelines, and employee satisfaction.

- Partner with leadership to support organizational planning and workforce development initiatives.

Technology Management

- Serve as the primary administrator for company software platforms and business systems.

- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding within technology systems, including user accounts, permissions, and equipment assignments.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain hardware, software, and IT-related services.

- Evaluate and implement new technology solutions to improve efficiency, communication, and collaboration.

- Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting assistance for employees.

- Maintain documentation for software processes, technology policies, and system procedures.

- Monitor software subscriptions, licenses, and renewal schedules.

- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, access controls, password management, and technology best practices.

- Support integrations between business systems, including HR, payroll, accounting, communication, and operational platforms.

- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve workflows through technology.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, Operations, Technology Management, or a related role.

- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment regulations, and employee relations.

- Experience working with HRIS, payroll systems, and cloud-based software platforms.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and business management software.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

- Self-motivated with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with platforms such as Microsoft 365, AWS, ActivTrak, and other operational software solutions is highly desirable.
